Study Abroad South Korea 2: Week One

Week one was filled with days and days of jet lag but lots of good times!  I would wake up around 5:30-6am everyday.  Regardless of what time I would go to bed.  This actually was quite good, I would wake up in the morning and then go walk around campus.  It was perfect for going to take pictures.  Here are some of the early morning pictures I captured.

The Cafeteria serves breakfast starting at 8am.  It is actually pretty good, and filling but most importantly it is cheap.  This breakfast only was about $3.50  DKU_Breakfast

I also found a waterfall on campus, sadly they stop running it in May.

After going to palace we walked about 20 mins to find some food.  Only to find out the place we were going was under construction.  We had to find another place nearby while in Insadong but the place we went was really good.  Ordered maybe about 3 things for all 7-10 of us.  Afterwards we walked around to the bus stop and headed home.  But we got to try this really good almond honey candy as well.

Week one ended on Sunday after some tasty chicken from Thunder Chicken.  We ordered the spicy one cause everyone told me it was toooo spicy.  It was alright, it was spicy and the effects were long-lasting.  But not the hottest thing ever, and definitely not that bad.  After we went for churros at this cute little shop.  This place was amazing.  The churro was so good, and I had ice cream with chocolate syrup with it.  SO AMAZING!
