Finally we decided to ride our scooters from our Kaohsiung stop to our Kenting Hotel.
After we arrived in Kenting we decided to go to the beach and finally see some ocean!

The next morning my friend and I got up around 5am and decided to go watch the sunrise. We found a scenic spot and watched. Sadly there was a bit too many clouds so there wasn’t much to see but the beach was beautiful!
After that we went back to the hotel where we were given breakfast (Eggs and Toast) and then planned the day. Our first stop was go-karting (and there were many to choose from). After riding the 200cc go karts for 10 minutes (I won of course) we then found another scenic spot!
We were hungry so we found a place near the harbor where we had sushi and other seafood dishes. Let me say, I never had fish fresher than this. I could swear I saw the sashimi still twitching. (Not really haha.) But look at these colors!

Then we went to Cat Mountain (pictured below).
After going to Cat Mountain we went to Hot Springs. Apparently they just pump the natural spring water into their tubs. Also, they have to re-heat it so it didn’t sound to legit to me. After about an hour of that we made one last stop of the day. We then went to Chufor, which has natural ground fire (Yes, fire, coming from the ground). We lit fireworks and enjoyed some warmth haha.
We then headed back for dinner at the night market near our hotel. I had some BBQ veggies and meat, as well as chicken wings, and tried a fried Twix. (Sorry No Pictures). All well worth it! I ended up sleeping relatively early since we had a long trek home the next day. We woke up, and drove to the most southern point in Taiwan. It was interesting to look out and know we couldn’t go any further.

Additionally, looking out at the oceans vastness can often times make you feel small. Interesting how that works. When you walk down the trail to the south point you can see the coral its very pretty. We rode too another scenic spot. It was very very windy. To be honest I didn’t see much but after that we went to east sashimi again, then ate at another seafood place. So much food!
Then we went one more time to the go-karting place, they had 200cc motors pretty cool. Finally, we went back to the hotel to venture back to Kaohsiung. On the way we decided to take a different route home.
BIG MISTAKE. Ended up having to go from (1) to (2) haha.
Mostly since scooters are not allowed on freeways, so we had to backtrack 30 minutes to find a road to take us across the river. We got delayed about at least an hour before we got back to drop off our scooters. We rushed in a Taxi to the Zuoying HSR station in Kaohsiung and around 8pm we left to go back to Taipei. What a trip… But well worth it and all of the beauty!
