Our ferry to Green Island was suppose to leave at 7:30AM, we were suppose to arrive at the docks by 7:00AM, so we woke up early around 5:45AM. The night was pretty restless, fitting 9 people on 3 beds meant the body heat was horrible. Haha. Anyways, we made it to the docks and got on the boat. I enjoyed the 40 min boat ride getting a little more sleep. However most if not all of my friends couldn’t say the same, all of them got a little sea sick. So if you go take some medicine, and bring water with you on the plane, and find your happy place. We arrived in Green Island and there was tons of people and hostel works trying to find their tenants. We finally find the host of our hostel and we immediately walked over to get our electric bikes that was included in our package. They have everyone test ride it to make sure they know how to ride haha. They don’t go too fast, but fast enough that you’ll get hurt if you fall. After we got that sorted out, we rode to the hostel and then got settled in. They took us to a place where we could eat breakfast and then get the day started.
After eating we went back to the hostel and took a very quick break and paid for our hostel package. We then rode our bikes over to the place to change into our snorkeling gear. We are required to wear full snorkel suits and then we rode to the area where the coal was. There were many other groups in the area but there was plenty of room and much to see. I can say I found nemo quite quickly. Unfortunately, I was unable to take any underwater pictures. After that, we drove over to the harbor that had a high spot to jump into the water below. It was a lot of fun. We then drove back and changed out of our snorkeling suits.
We then went over to the lighthouse and took pictures and enjoyed the views. After that we rode over to one end of the island and their were many fields of grass and small mountains to climb. It was very beautiful and quite tiring.
